Zoey Mayo

I’m a third year undergraduate Genetics and Genomics major. I am currently helping Kelsey Wood with her research on lettuce downy mildew and cloning reporters to signal gene expression. After graduating, I plan to pursue a PhD in Genetics and Genomics with a focus on genetically engineering and researching viruses. I’m my free time outside of classes and the lab I enjoy painting, playing tennis, and hanging out with my friends and my cat Gojo.
