Kotomi Sato

I'm a second year Molecular and Medical Microbiology major, currently assisting Kelsey Wood with her research on disease resistance genes in the lettuce-downy mildew pathosystem. I'm still considering my options for post-graduation, as I'm interested in entering the biotechnology industry as well as potentially pursuing graduate studies in microbiology. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy drawing, painting and performing with the UCD Marching Band.
