Research summary

Bremia lactucae (also known as lettuce downy mildew) is a foliar disease that contributes immensely to lettuce crop loss and is primarily found in California, Arizona, and Florida. My work will focus on collecting and phenotyping samples of B. lactucae so that we may better understand how the disease is able to evolve in field settings.
