Research Topic Bioinformatics, comparative genomics, R genes, NGS, breeding, genetic mapping
Research Summary The main objectives of my Marie Curie fellowship are (i) to identify molecular mechanisms determining R genes across the Compositae and to establish syntenic relationship within the family as well as with other plant species (Rosaceae), and (ii) to determine the different classes of R genes as a basis for a more efficient breeding for Durable Diseases Resistance and a more efficient sustainable agriculture.
